Create Tailored Recipes for Juicing

I’m very excited about this article; I’m going to over an interesting topic how to invent your own tailored recipes for juicing.

Juicing has become very popular over the last decade. It’s a perfect way to improve health, increase your energy and fight common health issues – diabetes, high blood pressure & asthma being a few. Juicing is great for everyone, but not everyone is going to need or even like the normal juicing recipes. With little knowledge you can create a delicious juice that specifically targets your health condition. Whether you’re as fit as a fiddle and would like to keep it that way or you’re suffering for a common illness. Creating your own tailor made juices is perfect way to go about that

Firstly if you are suffering from a health problem, you first have to understand it. Find out if your condition is linked to a lack or excess of any vitamins or minerals. Most health issues are linked to a lack of specific set of vitamins or minerals in the diet.

Once you understand the vitamins and minerals that benefit your specific condition. The next step to creating your own recipe for juicing is to find out which fruits and vegetable contain your desired vitamins & minerals.

Example: Research has shown that people suffer from fewer allergy symptoms when they have a higher intake of folic acid. They also are a lot less likely to suffer from asthma. Folic acid plays a major part in those who have breathing problems.

Your Own Recipes for Juicing: The ingredients.

Its all about ingredients. So choosing the right ones is key. Each vegetables and fruits has a different combination of vitamins and/or minerals. Like oranges contain a lot of vitamin C and bananas are packed full of potassium. Becoming familiar with the levels of vitamin and minerals contained in different fruits and vegetables will help you target the right foods to throw in the juicer. Purchase organic and high quality produce, the better the quality, the better your health.

In fact, the greatest kind of fruits and vegetables are the ones you grow in your backyard. For one you’re sure that no pesticides are used, and they are fresh. Once picked from the tree, plant or root, fruit and vegetables start losing some their antioxidants. Obviously we all can’t be gardeners so the best solution is a local grocery store or farmers market. We can’t be sure that all fruits and vegetables we buy from our local store doesn’t have pesticides so wash thoroughly before use.

The quantities of fruits or vegetables needed to make a juice varies. Around 1 pound of produce is needed to make 1 cup of juice. So balancing out with some fruits helps add more liquid.

As you can probably tell creating your own juicing recipe is fun and easy. Just take out the large seeds and pits as most of the nutrient content is located in the peel so peeling isn’t needed. The juicer will remove the stems and the rest.  All you need to do is cut the produce into pieces that fit into the entry way and then your all set.

So to recap:

- Understand the vitamins and minerals that can combat your condition.

- Find fruits and veg that have high contents of your desired nutrients.

- Mix and match. Experiment!
